lol but i gotta say its becoming somewhat easier to not pull the trigger on all the things i want. Ive been trying really hard to save up some money for my summer to california and so far ive saved up a good amount, but i gotta say its been super hard not buying whatever the fuck i want haha oh well

fuck yeah, this is what i want and this is why i design.
i cant even explain how excited i am. Im going to be a design intern and helping out in the warehouse with all the goodies! haha mannnnnn two months of my summer with my sister baby nephew and a company i support, follow, and wear.

im really happy, but kind of sad at the same time because i usually like to spend my summers hanging out with my good friends, but i guess you gotta prioritize sometimes because this is for my future.

i just touched up all my best pieces, typed up my resume and emailed them back with it all. I really hope they give me a design internship position for the summer, if they do i think i might spaz out!

this is the reason why i go to school and do what i do. I want to design. It feels so crazy to think that these are the first steps to the rest of my life, this internship is going to be so big for me. Working with a clothing company i admire and follow. I had alot of doubts going into this major but i honestly lived by the motto "do what you believe in and believe in what you do" and this is what i wanna do. Yeah even though it can get dry and very very stressful at times, not many people can say they love what they're learning/doing in school, but i can. Just looking at my design work from the beginning until now i can see a major improvement and i only hope to get better.

This internship can help me get better and not only that it'll help me network and build relationships that can help me later on down the road with my designing...anyways im rambling now im super super tired..i wanted to take a nap but just as i was about to i got the email from IMKING and i started getting right to it which took me 5 hours to complete and reply...jeez...

okay im keeping my fingers crossed.
and im going to take that nap now lol

I have contacted IMKING for a summer internship in california.
i have my fingers crossed, but im trying not to be too hopeful about it.
i wear this companys clothes, i follow them on social networking sites, and i check their website/blog regularly. This will definitely be a excellent learning experience and a great opportunity to get my foot in the door and network and create friendships with the company and other brands that they collaborate with.

so lonely up in edmond these days. i wish i was back at home laying in my little bed and watching tv until i fall asleep. its hard for me to lay here in the dark with nothing to keep my mind occupied because as soon as the lights go out and all i can hear is silence, thats when everything is at its loudest. My thoughts just go crazy and alot of times i have to turn my laptop back on and put on some family guy to 1. distract me from my own thoughts 2. to provide some comic relief in my sometimes depressing thoughts.

anyways i hate rambling on too long about my problems because after all they are my problems and nobody elses.

hows about a picture?! lol i dont think ive put one of those up in awhile. I was given an assignment in my Ad/Copy/Layout class to design a 6x9 newspaper ad for a fictional company called Java Junction. We have to come up with the logo, title, illustration, and overall complete layout of the ad. I think mine turned out pretty rad for only have worked on it for about an hour and a half, and after peaking around at the other students mine was definitely the best only because i hand designed everything in my ad whereas the other students copied and pasted pictures from google. anyways here it is.


so there you have it my fictitious newspaper ad! ill probably tweak this and put it in my portfolio i kinda like it haha

im loving this video. i love this song and the videos concept flows with the lyrics of the song which is cool too. It also helps that P-Rod is my favorite skater and i bought his signature shoes a few years back for like a hundred dollars...i will never spend that much on shoes again. haha anyways there are a few good cameos in this video see if you can spot them all! lol
